Krakow is a very charming town, and if you visit Poland it is a must.Very relaxed atmosphere, a lot of places to eat and drink, and overall just beautiful.

When we arrived at Krakow Central Station, we first checked out possibilities for hotels at the Tourist Information. That turned out to be a clever choice. The woman in the Tourist Information showed us pictures of a nice hotel at a very affordable price named Globetrotter, 170 Sloty for a double room per night, and the rooms where totally renovated. Not to mention that the atrium is cool even at hot days and the owner a true man of service. He just unplugged his own computer to let us borrow his brodband to update our site.
After we unloaded our backpack stuff at the Globetrotter Hotell, we went to the Market Square, a big and nice place with restaurants and horses all over the place. Prices were low, food was good, but if your order salmon, get the smoked one. The church is also very beautiul. When it comes to beer, Okocim is the best without doubt, and if you want a nice tasting killer, Okocim Boce, good tasting beer at 7% should do the trick. The waitress at the restaurant where smiling at us when we ordered the first, and she really tried to hide the smile when we ordered the second, but cracked. Another good beer is the Tyskie, and then on third place the Zywiec.
The buildings surrounding the Market Square are very beautiful, and at least on sundays there are an interesting market going on. It sort of looked like they where selling everything they didn't need, silver stuff, forks and knifes, watches, swords, medals, equipment, plates, yes everything you know. I was looking forward to check this out the next day, but sundays it seems are the only days.
