After Krakow, we left for Bratislava in Slovakia. When we at last arrived it turned out to be a beautiful city.

After the Germans had fought the Polish army in the autum of 1939, the city Oswiecim was annexed into the Third Reich, and the name was changed to Auschwitz.

The Saltmines in Wieliczka is a 300 kilometer labyrinth of underground corridors, a world cultural heritage site containing preserved traces of techniques applied in mining during the past 700 years.

Krakow is a very charming town, and if you visit Poland it is a must.Very relaxed atmosphere, a lot of places to eat and drink, and overall just beautiful.

After a nice flight from Trondheim in Norway, we landed at Warsaw international airport on the 21st of June. The impression of an East Block country where absolutely present.
